Sue Belton RGN (F)

Lead Nurse

Sue joined the health centre in 2013 as the Senior Nurse Manager. Prior to this role, she was the manager of a busy walk in centre.

Sue is a non medical prescriber and has worked as both a practice nurse and an autonomous nurse practitioner.

She is responsible for the development and management of the nursing services within the practice

  
Sharon Clarke RGN (F)

Sharon joined the health centre in 2006 as a part time Practice Nurse. She qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1991 and as a Paediatric Nurse in 1997. Prior experience involves nursing surgical and burns patients both adult and children.

Her special interests are health promotion and travel

  
Sarah Poole RGN (F)

Sarah joined the team in September 2010, to take up the post as Triage Nurse. In her role Sarah mainly sees same day emergency patients. Prior to working at Cripps Sarah spent several years in the Emergency Department and at Stapleford Walk-in Centre.

Outside of work Sarah enjoys playing netball.  

  
 
Carmel McCarthy (F)

Carmel joined the practice in 2016 and brings with health a wealth of knowledge and experience in sexual health and family planning. Carmel’s skills lie in providing advice and health promotion regarding sexual health and contraception, cytology, STI screening and assisting with clinical procedures including the Implant and IUD. Carmel also has experience in phlebotomy, ear syringing, chronic disease management,  undertaking ECG’s, vaccinations and immunisations and triaging patients over the phone. 

 
Annmarie Swallow RGN (F)

Annmarie joined the practice in September 2008. Prior to this she has worked as a Nurse Advisor at the local Walk-in Centre and in the Adult Emergency Department. Her special interests are diabetes and wound care.

 
Melanie Savage (F)
 Melanie joined the health centre in January 2012. She has previously worked as a Practice Nurse, as a School Nurse, for the Out of Hours service (NEMS) and most recently as a Nurse Specialist in contraception and sexual health.
 
 
Chris Tomblin RGN (F)

Chris recently retired as our senior nurse, but we are very lucky that she has decided to continue working with us 3 days a week.

Chris has been a Practice Nurse since 1991 in Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire and was at this practice as Senior Nurse from 2000-2013.

 
Kathy Rosenberg (F)

Kathy is an experienced practice nurse who works with us during term time. She performs the full range of practice nurse duties, including cytology, contraceptive services and travel health

Jane Nice (F)
Jane joined the practice in 2004. She is a trained Phlebotomist who is proficient in taking blood, performing and recording blood pressures and performing ECGs (heart trace). Jane also runs sexual health screening clinics.
 
 
Jakki Moone (F)

Jakki joined the practice in 2015 and is an advanced nurse practitioner with a non medical prescribing qualification. 

She  spends the majority of her time seeing patients with urgent same day needs.

Lynn Kirk (F)

Lynn joined the practice in 2014 and has many years experience as a Health Care Assistant, both in general practice and in an urgent care setting.

 She has received specialist training and is proficient in taking blood samples, performing ECG's, changing dressings and conducting ear irrigation. She is also responsible for conduction health checks and sexual health screening

 
 Anna Beardshaw (F)

Anna joined our team in the Summer of 2016 with a good knowledge of student health already having previously worked at another student health centre. Her main responsibilities include travel advice, immunisations, sexual health, contraception, wound care, cytology, suture removal, phlebotomy, ear care / irrigation and has experience in minor surgery, assisting with contraceptive implants, minor illness and chronic disease reviews. Anna enjoys the opportunities that working in a large, dynamic practice brings. 

   

  

 
Melissa Shillilto (F)
Melissa joined the practice in August 2016 having previously worked as an emergency nurse practitioner in a hospital. Melissa has spent most of her career in the emergency department and brings with her very useful triage skills. Melissa has developed her knowledge base by undertaking a number of courses. Here at the practice Melissa will perform the full range of practice nurse duties including travel health, cytology and contraceptive services. 
 
Tracey Williams (F)
Tracey started here in August 2016 as a Health Care Assistant to join our growing nursing team. She has previous experience of working as a HCA in a GP practice and is skilled in taking bloods, ECG, BP checks, suture/clip removal, spirometry testing and assisting in minor surgery. Tracey also has experience in working on a busy reception desk.
