Midwife

Vanessa Hutchinson RGN RM DPPM MSci. Midwifery

Community Midwife, Sycamore team, based at Wollaton Vale Health Centre.

Has a clinic each week for expectant mothers (follow-ups) this is held on a Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. New mothers will see Vanessa for a “booking visit”, which is held on a Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. Please ask at Reception for details. I am based at Wollaton Vale H.C.but Cripps patients can only be seen at Cripps or their own home).

District Nurses

The district nurse team cares for patients who need nursing at home and are based at Farndon Green health Centre in Wollaton

Psychiatry

Professor Clive Adams

Visits the practice every other week, generally on a Friday afternoon.

Professor Adams sees our patients with mental health problems, which are either serious, long-term or require further choices about medication. We have close liaison and all care is delivered as a team.

Denise Eaves

Based at Cripps Health Centre, Denise works closely with staff and students to promote awareness of sexual health issues.

Denise co-ordinates the C-Card scheme and is able to register students aged under 25 onto the scheme.

Physiotherapy

Mr. Nevzat Yuksel Diploma & Batchelor in Physiotherapy

Born and trained in turkey, Nevzat ran his own physiotherapy clinic in turkey. He looked after the Turkish national Basketball Team and had a contract in Turkish football. He arrived in the UK in October 2005 and worked at physio Direct before starting at the Nottingham University.

New Leaf
