You have to be referred to this service by a doctor from Cripps Health Centre (and so must be registered at Cripps Health Centre). You cannot self-refer or attend without appointment. For members of the Sports centre there is a physiotherapy assessment service, details of which are available at the sports centre. This does not require referral but is for assessment only, not ongoing treatment.

Our physiotherapy service is a private service is jointly funded by the university and NHS Nottingham City. We also have access to standard NHS Physiotherapy services.

Nevzat Yukzel holds daily clinics at the Cripps health centre but it is upstairs, near occupational health (please wait there for your appointment but if lost ask at our reception – allow for this time if attending for the first time). This is a very valuable service which the university pays for, therefore, failure to attend the first appointment will result in exclusion from entitlement to use this service and necessitate referral through the NHS route. A minimum of 72 hours notice for cancellation must be given.
