Dr D L Nash

I qualified in medicine at Nottingham University in 1985. I completed my GP training in Nottingham in 1989. I joined Cripps Health Centre in 1990 and have been a partner since 1991 and Senior Partner since 2006.
I have a keen interest in the full spectrum of General Practice. |

Dr E R Gibbs

(Three quarter time)
I trained in Nottingham medical School, qualifying in 1986.
After postgraduate training in nottingham and derby, i joined Cripps Health Centre as a partner in 1991.
My medical interests include contraception(including coil fitting) and sexual health. Outside work I enjoy running and T'ai Chi, as well as spending time with my two young daughters.

Dr Hugh Porter
MB, ChB, MRCGP, DRCOG, DFSRH, MSc, MFTM, MBA
I qualified from the University of Leicester in 1987 and after undertaking postgraduate training in Nottingham and Australia joined The University Health Service in 1993. Since joining the practice I have developed a variety of special interests, which on the clinical front include travel medicine, minor surgery and the insertion of contraceptive hormone implants. I also have an interest in management and lead the practice in working with NHS organisations to develop and improve new and current services.
I completed an MSc in travel medicine in 1999 and an MBA in 2009.. |

Before studying medicine I qualified as a Dental Surgeon, working within the speciality of Maxillofacial Surgery.
I qualified in medicine at the University of Nottingham and pursued interests in gynaecology, infertility and family planning prior to joining the Cripps Health Centre in 1999. I have an interest in teaching and I am a tutor for the Postgraduate Medical School in Derby |

Dr Tim Baker
BMedSci (Hons) BMBS, MRCGP, DRCOG, DFSRH, Diploma in Sports & Exercise Medicine
Having graduated from the University of Nottingham Medical School in 1996 I have followed a career in General Practice and have been a Partner at Cripps Health Centre since 2001. Within the Practice I am particularly interested in Sport & Exercise Medicine,minor surgery and lung disease and have also spent time working with Nottingham’s Alcohol & Drug Team.
In a voluntary capacity I am involved with the St John’s Ambulance in Nottingham, and I enjoy various sports including hiking, climbing mountains and the martial arts. |

Dr. Claire Manktelow
MB BS, MRCPCH, MRCGP, DFSRH
(Half time)
I qualified at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, University of London in 1992 and initially trained in Anaesthetics, which also involved a year in Boston, USA. On my return I worked as a junior doctor in London in Paediatrics at Northwick Park Hospital and Guys’ Hospital. I am a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and have an interest in Child Health.
I completed my General Practice training in 1999 and moved up to Nottingham where I was a salaried doctor for a year before joining the Partnership at Cripps’ in 2001. Since I have been here I have developed an interest in Dermatology and hold the Cardiff Diploma in Practical Dermatology in June 2006. |

Dr Adam J M Connor
B MedSci BM BS (Nottingham 1996) DCH DRCOG MRCGP.
Initially following a career in Surgery I did a number of surgical based jobs and developed an interest in ENT. I enjoyed direct patient contact more and moved to a training scheme for general practice. Completing further training job in 2002, I worked as a salaried doctor and locum GP for nearly 2 years, joining Cripps as a partner in April 2004.
As well as the everyday patient work, I am the partner responsible for Information Technology. Outside of the surgery I am involved in out-of-hours GP work and sit on the operations committee for Nottingham Emergency Medical services (NEMS) and do regular sessions for them overnight.
I am married, have 2 children and live on a farm. |

Dr Simon Royal

Simon joined the practice in 2006 having previously worked as a GP for the UEA in Norwich. He is interested in all aspects of health promotion and disease prevention and is actively researching in this area. |
