UNICOM Healthcare

The University of Nottingham Health Service belongs to the NHS practice based commissioning body called UNICOM Healthcare.

UNICOM sets out to ensure that patients receive the best healthcare in the most appropriate geographical and chronological environments. It is specifically geared to the needs of staff and students of the University.

Medical Research

Medical research is an integral part of the National Health Service in the UK. With research we can

  • learn how disease effects the body
  • anticipate problems
  • deal with issues more efficiently

UNHS is dedicated to supporting medical research. Occasionally we may need volunteers to take part in clinical research studies

Reception opening hours

Mon-Fri 8:00am - 6:00pm

Surgery times:

Mon-Fri 8:30am - 12:00am, 2:30pm - 5:30pm

Additional hours term-time only, for booked appointments only:

Monday 18:00 - 20:45

Saturday 08:00 - 12:00

If you need a Doctor outside of these hours please
telephone the Health Centre on 0115 8468888 and you will be put through to the out of hours service.

 

Patient Participation Group

We hold regular patient participation groups to

  • hear feedback about our practice
  • help us develop our services

The group meets at least once every academic term and hold email conversations as part of a virtual group.

New members are always welcome. Please contact us if you are interested.
