Vaccinations and other charges
Many vaccinations for travel are covered by the NHS. These include tetanus, diphtheria, polio, typhoid and hepatitis A. Hepatitis B is also sometimes available. The MMR vaccination ( against measles, mumps and rubella) is also included. Other non NHS vaccinations are given in association with our partners MASTA. You will be required to pay a charge, a list of which can be found at on the MASTA website
You can also purchase anti-malarial medication, other travel essentials from our nurses and again the prices of these can be found on our MASTA website
Other Considerations Before You Travel
Preparing for your trip is exciting, but often it occurs during the summer term when exams and other distractions can affect preparations. It is useful to make a list of key tasks to sort. In addition to the need for vaccinations and anti-malarial tablets below are a few key topics you may need to consider.
