Routine appointments

For non-urgent appointments:

  • use our online request form (Mon to Fri, 7am to 4pm) – we’ll respond within 4 hours during opening hours
  • call 0115 822 7979, (8am to 6:30pm)
  • visit reception (8am to 6pm)
  • use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App) to book a some tests or vaccination

Please let us know if you would like a telephone appointment, rather than a face-to-face appointment.

  • If you are booking routine appointments on the NHS app, all appointments are in-person at the health centre. If you would like a telephone appointment instead, please state this clearly in the comments section.

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Urgent appointments

If you think you need to be seen today (Mon to Fri):

  • Call 0115 822 7979 (8am to 6.30pm)
  • Or visit reception (8am to 6.30pm)

We’ll ask about your needs to book you with the most suitable clinician.

Your appointment

However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:

  • face-to-face appointment
  • phone consultation
  • text or email follow-up

Cancelling or changing an appointment

To cancel your appointment:

  • using your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
  • phone us on  0115 822 7979
  • reply CANCEL to your appointment reminder text message

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online (ages 5+) or call 111.

Call 999 in an emergency

Tell us if you have:

  • a preferred clinician
  • need an interpreter
  • have accessibility or communication needs

Home visits

Reserved for patients who are housebound or too unwell to attend. A doctor will call first to assess need and may:

  • Give advice
  • Arrange surgery attendance
  • Visit at home if necessary
